You don't have much time to spend in Rangiroa. Opt for the Triangle tour, a combination of the Blue Lagoon and the Reef Island in the same day. You'll then be able to discover the essential sights of Rangiroa. Our tour guides will ensure you have an unforgettable day exploring the must-sees of our atoll !

Itinerary for the day

Transfer from your accommodation between 8:00 and 8:30 AM.
8:30-8:45 AM : Dolphin watching in the Tiputa Pass.
8:45-9:15 AM : Snorkeling at the Tiputa Coral Garden (aquarium site).
9:15 AM : Departure for Reef Island.
10:30-11:30 AM : Reef tour and swimming.
11:30 AM-12:30 PM : Boat trip to the Blue Lagoon.
1:30 PM - 2:30 PM : Lunch (Polynesian buffet barbecue: rice, raw fish, grilled fish and chicken, coconut bread, and exploration of the Blue Lagoon).
2:45 PM - 4:00 PM : Departure from the Blue Lagoon and crossing to the villages of Avatoru and Tiputa.
Arrival at 4:00 PM at the Avatoru Marina.
4:15 PM : Disembarkation at the Marina and transfer to your accommodation.

This excursion is suitable for all visitors who are able to move around independently, climb aboard and disembark a boat using a ladder, and are of any age. Swimming skills are recommended.

Transfers to accommodations

Transfers to and from your accommodation are by car or directly by boat. Our team will contact you or your accommodation the day before the excursion between 6 pm and 8 pm to confirm the exact time, mode of transport, and meeting point. Transfers begin at 8:15 am.

Transfers are provided by car for accommodations located in Avatoru.

Transfers are not provided for remote accommodations: Rangiroa Bliss and Tihimani Lodge.

If you are staying at Aotera Guesthouse, meet at 8:30 am at Avatoru Marina to board our boat. Please arrange your transfer to Avatoru Marina with your accommodation provider.

For participants staying in the village of Tiputa, meet at 8:50 am at the Tiputa dock for direct pick-up by boat.

Snorkeling and Swimming

Snorkeling is defined as a surface aquatic activity during which the participant cannot touch the bottom. Polynesian law stipulates that it is a supervised activity during which the participant must wear personal flotation equipment (a life jacket). Therefore, during the snorkeling sections of excursions, freediving is strictly prohibited and wearing a life jacket is mandatory.

Swimming assumes that participants know how to swim, are independent, and are unsupervised. During excursions, all free time in the water without supervision for snorkeling is considered unsupervised swimming.

Weather conditions and cancellation

In the event of unsuitable weather conditions, our tour agency reserves the right to cancel its services for safety reasons. In case of cancellation, services will be fully refunded.

Regarding the consideration of weather forecasts, our agency cannot be held responsible if the forecasts prove to be incorrect.

Please note that the Rangiroa atoll is very large. The weather at your accommodation may not be the same as at the sites you visit (40 km away).

Finally, swell is one of the natural conditions that can make a site inaccessible or impassable.
